About Dr. HIT

Dr. H.I.Tekin is one of the world’s most sought after fertility specialists for the past 25 years. He has trained extensively in medical and surgical management of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, including a range of assisted reproductive techniques. In 2000, he has established the first Turkish egg donation centre as well as the first IVF centre in North Cyprus. Dr. HIT has proven himself capable of providing the highest level of care for couples and individuals who are struggling with infertility and want to achieve their dreams of having children. In his clinic, his medical team consists of professionals from around the world, including the UK, Turkey, America, and Canada. Alongside him, they all work to ensure the best possible experience for each and every patient.

MD. H.I.Tekin was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1962. In 1973, he achieved acceptance into Galatasaray High School in Istanbul, where he completed his middle and upper school education. In 1987, he attended and completed education in the Medical Faculty of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University, majoring in Forensic Medicine.

He has worked as a physician and a forensic doctor in the E.D of Denizli State Hospital. After his time as a physician, in 1988, he received the “Hızır Emergency Certificate” from Ankara Numune Hospital. Later, In 1995, he completed his studies at Zeynep Kamil Hospital and became a Gynaecology and Obstetrics Specialist there. He then joined the Pakize Tarzi Hospital in Istanbul for further training in 1997.

Who is Dr. HIT?

Between 1997 and 2004, Dr. HIT worked at Pakize Tarzi Hospital and received the ÜYTE license.

In 2000, through the establishment of the first IVF center in Nicosia, Cyprus that provides egg donations, he started treating patients from around the world. Dr. HIT is one of the pioneers when it comes to establishing fertility technology in North Cyprus. From then on, he has helped more than 25 thousand families attain their desires of starting a family.

In 2004, he founded the Middle East and Balkans IVF Center. He has continued his IVF studies at the Near East University IVF Center and Cyprus Central Hospital as a Sub Specialist on Reproductive Medicine, as of May 2014. Dr. HIT has also contributed to various scientific studies in Turkey and internationally.

 

Present Life of Dr. HIT

As of 2025, MD. H.I.Tekin continues to bring joy to families through miracles, allowing over 25,0000 families to have children through fertility treatments. He is a world leader in the field of IVF.  Given his success in aiding couples fulfilling their dreams of acquiring their very own bundle of joy, Dr. HIT’s clinic has become recognized and gained respect globally.

Every year, he continues to treat over 250 international families, with most of them traveling to Cyprus from the United Kingdom. He has helped families all the way from the USA to China, as well as from Norway to Australia, to achieve their dreams of having children.

 

Sports and Personal Activities of Dr. HIT

MD. H.I.Tekin played basketball in the notable Galatasaray Sports Club. He also played in Youth and the A Team between 1974-1981. During his university and specialty training, Dr. HIT worked as a coach and manager at Galatasaray Sports Club for nearly 10 years. He served as the second president of the basketball branch under the presidency of Yalçın Granit. MD. H.I.Tekin is a member of the Board of Galatasaray Club and Galatasaray Association. He is also a member of the Galatasaray Former Sportsmen Association. He speaks English, French, Turkish, and Russian.

He is an amateur pilot and aviation lover with NPPl and Jaar PPL pilot licenses.
